Gladys A. Hoffmeier, 79, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015, in Fort Dodge.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 30, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Fort Dodge.

Gladys Anne Ladwig was born November 19, 1935, in Crawford County, the daughter of Albert and Hulda (Blunk) Ladwig. She graduated from Charter Oak High School in 1953. She married Dean Frederick Hoffmeier. Together they moved to Fort Dodge. Dean preceded her in death on September 13, 2010.

Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Furne of Sioux City and Darlene Henkel of Denison; and one sister-in-law, Helen Ladwig of Ida Grove.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, Vernon, Edward and Melvin Ladwig, two brothers-in-law, Charles Furne and Herman Henkel and two nephews, Michael Ladwig and Raymond Henkel.
