Diane "Di" Shumaker, age 69, of Rowlett, TX, since 1982, passed away March 6, 2016, at 4:27 am. She was born October 3, 1946, in Dallas, TX, to John Franklin and Mildred Louise (Rainwater) Bowles. Diane retired after more than 30 years of employment from the Hunt Family Company.
She is survived by her daughter: Rhonda Coke and husband John Carroll; sister: Donna Vance; grandchildren: Maeghan Jackson and husband Steve, Graham Coke III, Chelsey Coke and fiancé Jon Higdon and John Coke; and great granddaughter: Paisleigh Mae. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: James Shumaker.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Friday, March 11, 2016, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 12:00pm.
