Geneva Naron-John died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Douglas Care Center in Douglas.

Geneva was born Friday, January 27, 1939 in rural Montezuma County, Colorado the daughter of Rufus and Ruth (Holliday) Wilderson.

She was educated in Dolores, Colorado graduating from Dolores High School in 1955. She attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. She married Norman Odell Naron on July 1, 1957 in Chama, New Mexico. She lived in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Utah, and several towns in Wyoming including Mountain View, Granger, Douglas, and Hanna.

She worked in accounting and personnel, and shortly in law enforcement as a dispatcher. After Norman’s death of cancer on March 14, 1992 she married Gordon John in 1995 and moved to Beaver City, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Naron; sister, Ruth Opal Gilliland; brothers, Rufus Orval Wilderson and Ralph O’Niel Wilderson; and two nephews.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon John, of Beaver City, Nebraska; her daughter, Kellie (Robert) Clausen, of Douglas; grandchildren Aaron Clausen of Douglas, AuBrie (Steve) Salazar of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Aiden (Adam) Wray of Bar Nunn, Wyoming; great-grandchildren Mason Salazar and Adelyn Wray; step-great grandsons, Brayton Walling, Chance Wray, and Austin Wray; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
