Generosa Jerry Cuicci, 81, of 1037 West Side Ave., Jersey City, who was a former professional fight trainer, died yesterday in the South Bergen Hospital, Hasbrouck Heights.

Born in New York City, Mr. Cuicci, had been a resident of Jersey City most of his life. During the early 20s and 30s, Mr. Cuicci trained some well-known fighters, including Leonard Zazzarino, who fought for the light-weight championship of the world. Mr. Cuicci was also active with the youth of the Marion section of the city, as trainer in all sports.

Mr. Cuicci was hnored by Ring 14 Veteran Boxing Association as outstanding boxing trainer last month.

Mr. Cuicci retired from the fight game in the late 40s. He was also a former employee of the Jersey City Housing Authority.

Mr. Cuicci was also affiliated with the Mt. Carmel CYO.

A 10 a.m. Mass will be offered Tuesday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
