Born May 31, 1924 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Leona Roberts Butler.
Mary loved donuts, strawberries, crossword puzzles, soap operas, and being with her family. She never met a stranger.
She attended Martinsburg High School and Bethel Assembly of God.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth D. Wasson, Sr. of Martinsburg; three daughters, Jeanie Dugan and husband, Trammell of Martinsburg, Barbara Dugan and husband, Larry of Glengary, and Laurie Wasson of Martinsburg; three grandchildren, Gina Popham and husband, Phillip of Covington, GA, Kenneth D. Wasson, Jr. and wife, Dana of Martinsburg, Jennifer Dugan of Glengary; two great-grandchildren; and special nephew, Jimmy Butler.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Irvin Butler and Nelson Butler.
