Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday March 23, 2016 at First Baptist Church . Burial will be in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Iredell County, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Josephine Chapman Arthur and had lived in Reidsville for most of her life. She was a retired employee of the Upper Piedmont Research Station and a member of First Baptist Church. A former member of the A.B. W. A. , she was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Edward Tuttle, seven brothers: Harry, Wilson, Eugene, Thomas, Henry, Jr., Grier “Joey”, and Samuel Arthur, and three sisters: Wynona Spake, Constance Fowler, and Rose Arthur.
Survivors include a daughter; Janice Tuttle Gillen and husband Steve of Warner Robins, GA, a son; Eddie Tuttle and wife Donna of Reidsville, NC, a sister; Nancye A. Gwaltney of Statesville, NC, grandchildren; Paul Tuttle and fiancé Whitney Spagnolo, John Tuttle and wife Marilyn, Marc Tuttle and wife Casey, Patrick Gillen and wife Melanie, and Teddy Gillen; and five great grandchildren.
The family will see friends 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. Wednesday March 23, 2016 in the narthex of First Baptist Church and at other times will be at the home of her son Eddie Tuttle 1323 Pennrose Dr. Reidsville
