Funeral services celebrating the life of Virginia Lynne Hill Brown, age 81 will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Pine Street Church of Christ, 900 N. Pine Street, Vivian, LA. Officiating at the service will be Sol Hook and Ben Brewster. Interment will follow in the Vivian Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation on Wednesday, March 23rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA.

Mrs. Brown was born in Vivian, LA on April 27, 1934 to John Gerald (JG) and Nora Posey Hill and passed away on March 21, 2016 at Willis Knighton Bossier. She was a registered nurse where she worked in home health care for many years. Mrs. Brown was an active member of the Pine Street Church of Christ, loved to garden, her flowers and birds. She was a devoted Mother and Nanny and loved spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Gloria Helen Pyle and husband, Willard and their daughter, Mary Anne, Merry Poston and her son, Timothy Poston, Wanda Roark and husband, Eugene and Norma Jean Hill. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Michael Angelo of Benton, LA; grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Angelo, who were the center of her world. Mrs. Brown is also survived by her nephews, Keith Pyle and Jonathan Roark and niece, Cindy Seferian.
