Alice Mae "Nonnie" Clark was the daughter of James Madison Clark and "Maggie" Smeenge. She was born on March 17, 1898 in Holland, Michigan. Alice married Leonard Harm Hanson on December 24, 1917 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Together they had 6 children.

HANSON - Mrs. Alice M. Hanson, aged 93, of Grand Rapids, died Wednesday, January 1, 1992, at St. Mary's Hospital and went to her heavenly home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Hanson, son, Ronald L. Hanson, and daughter, Jean Post. Surviving are her children Mrs. Marion (Jim) Cooper of Springfield, MO, Mrs. Evelyn (Roy) Batema of Grand Rapids; 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hanson was a dedicated member of the First Wesleyan Church for 45 years. Services were held at Rosedale Memorial Park Chapel with The Rev. Larry Erlandson officiating. For those who wish memorials may be made to the First Wesleyan Church.
