Received request to correct his middle name to Barksdale. The records I found of his son, Charles, lists their middle name as Brooksdale or Brookdale. (Please see his memorial page.) Ellen's tree has him listed as Baxter. I contact her and she wrote back:
Taylor, Alma Taylor, dau of Charles SR was married to Arthur Kenneth McDade, AKA "Shorty" He and my father were close, they were 3rd cousins. I got some info from him prior to his death in 2003, I even went to the cemetery for his burial.
