Evelyn M. Zick, age 91, of Bismarck, North Dakota formerly of Bangor passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in Bismarck.

Evelyn was born May 17, 1914 in Mandan, ND the daughter of George and Cora (Henninger) Kottsick.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bangor, and had lived in the Grand Junction and Bangor area for over 40 years before moving to Bismarck.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol (Alvin) Schmierer of Bismarck; 2 grandchildren, Jeff (Teresa) Schmierer of Oak Park, Minnesota, Keri Jo (Todd) Rockwood of Westminster, Colorado; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Virgil (Sheri) Kottsick of Lillian, Alabama, Robert Kottsick of Minot, North Dakota, Quenten (Carol) Kottsick of Onamia, Minnesota; 3 sisters, Ruth Weber of Minot, North Dakota, Norma Johnson of Minot, North Dakota, and Jackie (Don) King of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Zick, in 1994, her parents and 2 sisters.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Bangor Chapel, D. L. Miller Funeral Home, with Fr. Thomas E. Seidel, C.S.C. officiating. Buirial of cremains will take place at Arlington Hill Cemetery, Bangor.
