ERNEST MARKS

Ernest V. Marks, 96, of Mt. Zion, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2000, at Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center.

He was the son of the late Isaac Clinton and Sarah Frances Hall Marks. He was a farmer and a member of Cremo Community Church.

Surviving are three sons, William Gifford Marks of Mt. Zion, Gordie C. Marks of Harrisville and Alvia Eugene Starcher of Doylestown, Ohio; three daughters, Marie Helena Adkins of Doylestown, Artie Waneta Helmick of Clinton, Ohio, and Lula Lorraine Myers of Mt. Zion; 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Burial was in Slider Cemetery, Mt. Zion.
