Andrew Jackson Brubaker and Anna E. (Annie) Mauck, his second wife, were married on 9 May 1875 in Page Co. VA. They had the following children:

Andrew Jackson Brubaker was a farmer. He owned and resided on the farm near the White House, which his grandfather purchased in 1823 from Joseph Kauffman, son of Martin Kauffman, a Primitive Baptist minister.

He served the Confederacy during the Civil War when he was a member of Terry's Brigade, Gordon's Division, Co. K, 10th Virginia Infantry. He was captured near Petersburg, VA, March 25, 1865, and taken as a prisoner of war to Point Lookout, MD. where he was given his discharged June 23, 1865. He said that, on his arrival home, he went to the river and wading out into the water "bid farewell to lice and tobacco."

Andrew J. Brubaker was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, as was his wife Catherine. He was ordained a Deacon May 10, 1890 and served the church in this capacity until his death.

For seven years of his latter life he was an invalid from muscular rheumatism and at times was a great sufferer.
