Jimmy Carl Christian (1943 – March 15, 2016)
Jimmy Carl Christian, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 in DeSoto, TX.
Jimmy worked in government aircraft at Northrop Grumman Vought Aircraft for many years, retiring in 1999, and most recently as a Logistics Items Analyst Staff at Lockheed Martin of Fort Worth, TX.
Jimmy served faithfully in three main capacities at his church, Risen Christ Family. He was Senior Church Elder, as well as Pastor over the prayer ministry. He was especially passionate about his role as teacher and minister for Healing School at Risen Christ.
Jimmy was married to his wife Carol Christian for 36 years.
Carol preceded him in death on July 16, 2003.
Jimmy is survived by his son and his wife, Paul Darren and Mindy Christian of Irving; his oldest daughter and her husband, Susanna and Jeremy Just of Garland; and his youngest daughter and her husband, Liz and Rob Simmons of McKinney. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren -- Kaitlyn (age 21), Alana (14), Abrielle (13), Madelynn (11), River (9), Aden (9), Ryder (7), Mercy (6), Asher (6), Nathan (5), and Andrew (2). Jimmy is also survived by his brothers George and Bobby, and his sister Martha, as well as 13 nieces and nephews and many more great-nieces and great-nephews.
