Bessie Elizabeth Law McCool, Age 88, of Sheridan, died Saturday. She was the widow of Havis Harv McCool and a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church of Sheridan and the Little Creek Home Demonstration Club.

Born in Gary, Oklahoma, she moved to Arkansas in 1916. She was the daughter of Isreal and Julia Ann Law. She is survived by two sons, Carl L. McCool and Leon McCool, both of Sheridan; two daughters, Gearaline Graves of Sheridan and Dora Anna Padgett Land of Benton; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2PM today at Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. Dale Cappell and the Rev. Gary Moore. Burial was to be at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.

Pallbearers were Gene Graves, Harvey Padgett, Wayne Padgett, Phillip Padgett, Scott Padgett, Dwight Anderton, Bobby McCool and Carl Daniel McCool. Honorary pallbearers were Allen McCool, Mark McCool, Jeffery Padgett and Ricky Anderton.

Burial was by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
