Aggie supported Bill's involvement with the Texas Medical Association by being active in the Women's Auxiliary to the Texas Medical Association, becoming their President in 1975 for a year.
Aggie attended Lamar College and graduated with a B.A. in Speech and Hearing Therapy and teaching certificate in 1970 and a Master's in Speech Pathology in 1972. Among other community contributions, she became a Speech and Hearing Therapist for both the Liberty Independent School District and the Hull-Daisetta School District, retiring from LISD in 1998.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dr. C.W. (Bill) Castle. She is survived by her five sons, three daughters-in-law, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
