John R. Gray, 73, of 5404 N. Plaza Drive died yesterday at St. Francis Hospital.
Born Dec. 15, 1908, in Speer, he was a son of Adam and Nellie Fuller Gray. He married Beatrice Wood in Peoria Dec. 11, 1936. She died here May 20, 1974.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Wilbur (Betty) Seley of Greenfield, Iowa, Mrs. Leo (Patricia) Schafts of Peoria, Mrs. Richard (Jacquiline) Cox of Dunlap and Mrs. Robert (Judith) Bell of Morton; two sons, William L. Craig of Peoria and Larry F. Craig of Chicago; and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Jones of Jacksonville. Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
He was a retired shipping clerk for Pabst Brewing Co., where he worked 46 years.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
