William "Bill" Baker passed away Christmas Eve at Stevens Memorial Hospital in Edmonds. Born and raised in Ballard he was the youngest of four children. Brother and last remaining sibling Robert "Bob" Baker continues to reside in Ballard. Bill and his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia, settled in Edmonds over 52 years ago and raised twelve children, 30 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Later, their original Edmonds home continues to be the deep-rooted center of the Baker universe. The entire family still lives within 20 miles of "Home". Bill was a devoted husband and father, a hard worker and a strong leader. He took pride in both his and his family's many accomplishments. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, home projects, custom bird house building and time spent with the kids. He always welcomed family and friends into his home and enjoyed good conversation with everyone who came byand maybe a friendly game or two of cribbage. He will be missed. I love you sweetheart. We love you Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Friend.... In memory of Bill, a benevolent account has been established in the name of his grandson, Brendan Hauer.
