Greta Albertina Andersson Erickson 1915 ~ 2003 SALT LAKE CITY - Greta Albertina Andersson Erickson, 88, died Sunday, October 26, 2003 peacefully five days after her husband. She was born February 5, 1915 in Hogmarso, Sweden the daughter of Johan Oskar and Albertina Strom Andersson. She married Sven Alfred Erickson in Sweden on October 25, 1941. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They immigrated to America in 1949. She was employed in Sweden as a nurse. Greta was a member of the LDS Church and served as a temple worker and in the Primary. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and taking care of others. She was the kindest, most compassionate wife, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother ever. Survived by her son, Gerry (Margo) Erickson, North Salt Lake, Ut; grandchildren, Michelle Payne, Eagle Mt., UT; Craig (Melissa) Erickson, Eagle Mt., UT; Ryan Erickson, Sandy, UT; Melissa (Sol) Oberg, Layton, UT; Erica (Mike) Smith, Farmington, UT; Landon Maughan, North Salt Lake; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Roan, Zane, brothers, Gunnar Andersson, Salt Lake City, UT; Einar (Ulla) Andersson, Salt Lake City, UT; brother-in-law, Ake Renlund, Salt Lake City, UT; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Bountiful City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 No. 400 E., Bountiful. The family would like to thank Rocky Mtn. Care Center in Bountiful for their loving care. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer Association or LDS Missionary Fund.
