born April 25, 1836 in Ken. Died, Feb. 26, 1914 and is buried in the Steel cemetery. Pvt., Co. E 8th Reg. Ken. Inf. Sept. 2, 1861 to Nov. 17, 1864, mustered in Co. A. He lived in Hartville, Mo. in 1890.

∼Son of Robert Bane and Sallie Lee. Husband of Emelese Raines Bane.
