Gerald W. Naderman, of Sloatsburg, NY, died peacefully at home on March 18, 2004 at the age of 81 years. Gerald was born in Salem, Oregon on May 4, 1922 and served in the US Army during WWII. He was awarded the Purple Heart and was a P.O.W. Gerald was a retired sheet metal worker and a member of the Sloatsburg Senior Citizens, a senior volunteer at the Sloatsburg Elementary School, the Hudson Valley Ex. P.O.W, and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. A family statement reads, "Gerald enjoyed an active life with friends and family."
