Final Rites Today: For Wilbur L. Friend. ---Funeral services for Wilbur L. Friend, 57, of 128 North First street, Yucaipa, will be held today at 2:30 p.m. from Emmerson's Yucaipa chapel. Mr. Friend, native of Nebraska and resident of Yucaipa 20 years, died Saturday. He is survived by his widow, Fern, and the following children: Ilea Kelley, Yucaipa; John, Richard and Henry Friend all of Yucaipa, and Levie, of Orroyo Grande, Cal.; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. W. F. Hentges, Santa Ana; Mrs. S. J. Peebles, Brention, Wash.; George H. Friend, Kansas City; Floyd J. Friend, Bayard, Neb., and five grandchildren. (p. 1 col. 5)
