Dorothy Ann Cline, 91, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 11, 2016.
Dorothy was born June 7, 1924 to Charles and Dorothy E. (Middaugh) Princing in Cameron, Mo. She grew up in New York City, then moved to Beverly Hills, Calif., before settling in Missouri in 1955.

She was a cook with Polo School System, Polo, Mo., for many years. When she retired in 1996, she had been a cook at Saratoga Manor. She had lived in Excelsior Springs from 1984 till her death. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, knitting and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Princing; mother, Dorothy Post; three brothers, Charles, Vernon and Herman Princing; and one son, Richard E. Cline.

She is survived by four sons, Steve and wife, Patricia Woods of Colorado Springs, Colo., William and wife, Rose Cline of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Gene and wife, Tammy Cline of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Buster and wife, Deb Cline of Bethany, Mo.; two daughters, Carrie and husband, Tom Bashaw of Fiji, and Lora Cates of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; 23 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, with services at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Cremation with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
