Jackie “Jack” Dee Elliott was born December 25, 1937 in Duncan, OK to Carl and Cecile (Weir) Elliott and went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2016. He enlisted in the Oklahoma Army National Guard in 1957 and served 6 years. Jack married Dorthy Elizabeth Nelson on July 18, 1958 in Clinton, OK. For many years he was a grocery sales representative. He was a member at Northwest Baptist Church where he felt at home and especially loved his Sunday School Class. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, boating, and skiing. He and Dorthy also enjoyed traveling in their RV and being members of the Good Sam’s Travel Club where they met and acquired many lasting friendships. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorthy; daughter, Kim Draper and husband Earl of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Scott Elliott and wife Rita Lynn and their children, Nathan Ryan, Andrew Harrison and Joben Jackson of Yukon, OK; sister, Carlene Gravlee and husband Gerald of Chattanooga, OK; sister-in-law, Eva Elliott of Clinton, OK; brother, Larry Dodson of Yukon, OK; and numerous extended family members and friends. Viewing will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 9:00am to 9:00pm with family present from 6:00-8:00pm at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany, OK. Funeral service will be 10:00am, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Northwest Baptist Church, 3030 N.W. 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK with interment at 2:00pm in the Clinton City Cemetery, Clinton, OK.
