Alice was born to parents David Leander Rice and Inez Adora Bristol. She married Fa'Amika Anae and they were blessed with seven wonderful children, all who are living. Fa'Amike departed life too soon, in 1982 and she managed to raise some wonderful children. Aunty, God Bless and may you have forever happiness in heaven with your husband,

Alice Mae Anae, 80, of Laie, a retired special-education teacher at Kahuku High and Intermediate School, died in Laie. She was born in Tacoma, Wash. She is survived by sons Allen, Brad, Robert, Matthew and Grant; daughters Audri Olomua and Wendy Anae; 28 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. March 24 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Laie Hawaii Stake Center. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Laie Cemetery.
