Mona Lucille Agan Breedlove, daughter of James and Clora Darrow Rogers, was born October 22, 1916, near Stoutland, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, April 26, 2000, in her home, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of eighty-three years, six months, and four days.

On August 9, 1936, she was united in marriage to Robert H. Agan, and to this union one son and two daughters were born. Mr. Agan preceded her in death on September 6, 1989.

On January 6, 1994, she was united in marriage to Vernie W. Breedlove, and together they shared three years before his passing on January 20, 1997.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patsy May Agan; and four brothers, Herb, Adam, Grover, and Homer Rogers.

Lucille is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Mary Agan, of Lebanon, Missouri; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Rev. Fred Bobe, of Nixa, Missouri; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a brother, Rev. Donald Rogers, of Lebanon, Missouri; two sisters, Sybile Agan, of Lebanon, Missouri, and Martha Dyer, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

She was born and raised in the Stoutland and Dove communities. After she and Robert were married, they made their home near Lebanon, and lovingly raised their children. Throughout the years, Lucille was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. Later in her life, she and Vernie made their home in Lebanon and enjoyed their retirement together.

Lucille was saved in 1929, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Through the years she had been active in all phases of church work.

She centered her life around her family and her church, and always put the needs of others before her own. She greatlly enjoyed planning parties, holidays and family gatherings, and liked walking, quilting, and cooking in her spare time. Her family was very dear to her, and she greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lucille was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, and was a caring neighbor and friend. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed, but the wonderful memories she created for her family and friends will live on forever.
