George A. Albright, former supervisor of roads in Cumberland County, who held several other county positions, died in the Carlisle Hospital yesterday. He was a lifelong resident of Middlesex Township and was 85 years old.

He was a former steward at the Cumberland County Home for many years and also served several terms as librarian and court crier in the courts here. For some years he resided in town on East North Street.

He was one of the founders of the United Brethren Church at Middlesex where was an active member since its organization.

Surviving him are: a son, Preston Albright, of Middlesex; two sisters, Mrs. Daniel Bucher and Mrs. Harry Burn, both of Carlisle.

Services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Lutz Funeral Home, with Rev. Palmer M. Slenker and Rev. A.C. Crone in charge. Interment will be in the Kutz Church Cemetery. Friends may call tomorrow evening at the funeral home.
