Charles M. Adams, aged 62 years, died Thursday morning at his home in Carlisle, after an illness of five day. He was employed at the Goodyear Shoe Factory. Until ten years ago he resided in Perry County, where he had been engaged in farming for many years. He was a member of the Evangelical Church, near Shermansdale.

In additin to his widow he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Cassel, Marysville; seven sons, Richard A., George W. and Paul L. Adams, all of Carlisle; Clarence P., of Marysville; Charles O., West Fairview; Robert T., Lemoyne, and Roy L., of Gary, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Theodore Hull, Landisburg and Mrs. Ross Shearer, Shermansdale; and six brothers, William, Thomas, Harry, Walter and Howard, all of Shermansdale and Albert Adams.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon.
