Albert Adams, RD5, South Middletown Township farmer, died unexpectedly this morning in his truck on Baltimore Street. He was taken to the Carlisle Hospital in the ambulance but was dead on arrival, Coroner E.A. Haegele reported.

Albert Adams, RD5 farmer, died unexpectedly yesterday morning while driving his truck on Baltimore Street. He was 80 years old.

He was found slumped behind the wheel of the truck and was pronounced dead on arrival at Carlisle Hospital in the ambulance.

A native of Perry County, he was the son of the late Richard and Abbie Jane Fenicle Adams. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and the Men's Bible Class of the Sunday School. He served many years on the church board. He was a director of the Farmers Trust Company and also of the Beetem Lumber and Manufacturing Company.

Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Niesley, with whom he lived for the last 18 years, and a brother, Howard Adams, Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Shulenberger and Roth Funeral Home, 169 West High Street. Rev. Charles T. Sardeson will officiate. Burial will be in Kutz's Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home.
