TYNER, N.C. - Sarah Campbell Ward, 89, of Route 1, died Aug. 27, 1991, in an Edenton hospital.
Mrs. Ward was born in Haywood County. She was the widow of Llewellyn Ward.
Survivors include a daughter, Thomasine Sutton of Kinston; a son, William D. Ward of Garner; two sisters, Grace Fisher of Maggie Valley and Nell Matthews of Clyde; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The graveside will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Ballards Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. George Cooke. Friends may join the family after the service in the Ballards Bridge Baptist Church fellowship hall. Williford-Barham Funeral Home, Edenton, is handling arrangements.
