Ellen is my cousin. She is a cousin on my mom's side, but married someone with the same surname as my dad. (no relation, though.)

Ellen was born to her loving parents Robert & Eleanor Nash in St. James hospital Butte, Montana on February 12,1945. Ellen graduated from St. John Evangelist grade school May 1959 and continued her education to graduate from Butte High School in June 1963. Ellen enjoyed her educational experience for which she went on to attend Carroll College (Helena,Montana)and Montana Tech of the University of Montana (Butte,Montana) with a 4.0 GPA. Her time not spent embracing her education, she worked full time.

Ellen only put her best into everything she did. This included her education and family. Her 4.0 GPA was one of many things that made her feel proud of herself. Ellen was very grateful for the many many supportive and wonderful friends she has made with time her on earth. Ellen would like to let you know her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of offer you can't refuse from the almighty. Ellen's new appointed title is one in which she will not be returning. This new assignment comes with a significant sign-on bonus, including a reunion with her maternal and paternal grandparents, mother, father, sister Sonja Hennessy, and her favorite uncle (whom she called her hero) Tim J. Shea, as well as many other loved and cherished family members and close friends. Job security is an astonishing 110 percent. Her new position will be taking her to glorious and breath taking places for which she will be enjoying her time socializing, reading, and basking in the sun to her hearts content. Love and laughter are guaranteed. The food is delicious in which you can never gain an ounce.

Ellen left detailed instructions to continue her memory by paying it forward by being kind to one another. Any donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton Ohio.

We want you to know that Ellen finished her job on earth with a loving footprint on her grandchildren's (Zachery Warner, Amanda Reeb, Samantha Herring) hearts. We wish her a safe journey. Ellen will be remembered for her loving warmth, her contagious humor, and her overall love for life and all beings in this world. She was a very hard worker all her life, up until the very end. She touched so many, and will be remember for all that she has done.

Ellen spent her later part of her life enjoying time with her beloved granddaughter Amanda Reeb and family. She passed away in Fairborn, Ohio surround by people that loved her on March 11, 2016 .She is survived by her beloved brother Bob and his wife Bobbye Nash, her three wonderful grandchildren Zachery Warner, Amanda Reeb, Samantha Herring and their families, nephew Joe and his wife Midge Nash, nephew Tim Nash, and sister Monica Goosey and family.
