RICHMOND, Ind. – Paul L. Land, age 72, of Richmond, died Friday, March 11, 2016, at Brookside Haven Care Center in Muncie, Indiana. Born March 17, 1943, in New Castle, Indiana, to Owen W. and Martha E. Benjamin Land, Paul was a life-long resident of this area. He was a graduate of Richmond High School, Purdue University, and Ball State University. Paul was an accountant at Belden Wire and Cable, Richmond Baking Company, and Richmond State Hospital. He was a member of Fountain City Wesleyan Church. Survivors include his daughters, Sonya (Randy) Mathews of Richmond and Shelly (Bill) Wyramon of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; son, Kevin Land of Richmond; grandchildren, Josh and Alexis Mathews, and Braden, Kimberly and Isaac Wyramon; and brothers, Dale (Nita) Land and Earl (Sandy) Land. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Paul L. Land will be from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Mathews officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
