An announcement in the 3/22/1915 "Geneva Times" regarding the Surrogate Court proceedings is interesting. It stated: "Love M. Standish of South Bristol, who died on December 15th, cut off two of her (sic) sons with a dollar each and left the remainder of her (sic) $2000 estate to a third son, George T. Standish of South Bristol, who is also named as executor."
Robert C. and F. R. Standish of South Bristol are the other sons.

Naples, N. Y. - Mrs. Love Holcomb Standish, widow of Russel Standish, died at her home at Woodville, at the head of Canandaigua Lake, Tuesday from the effects of a shock, at the age of 83 years. Mrs. Standish was born in Geneseo, N. Y., December 16, 1831, the daughter of Perry and Fanny Watkins Holcomb, and when quite young, moved with them to Holcomb's Point, now Cook's, on Canandaigua lake. Mrs. Standish leaves three sons, Frank, Robert and George, all residing in South Bristol.
The funeral was held from the home yesterday morning, Rev. Dr. France officiating, and the burial was in Rose Ridge cemetery.
