OBITUARY: Harold C. Edlin - reprinted from the May 14, 1974 Winona Daily News

Pepin, Wisconsin (Special) - Harold C. Edlin, 64, Pepin, died at his home Monday.

A retired farmer, he was born April 28, 1910 in the town of Stockholm to Carl and Ida Edlin. A lifetime resident of the Stockholm and Pepin area, he married Irene Elnore Westberg in Lake City, July 25, 1931. She died in November 1971. He attended Pleasant Corner School and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Pepin.

Survivors are: three sons, Dale, River Falls, Wisconsin; Howard, Boyceville, Wisconsin and Joe, Stockholm; one daughter, Mrs. Jerri (Kathleen) Mikelson, Rosemount, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd, Pepin and Lawrence, Stockholm and one sister, Mrs. Dorance (Violet) Johnson, Stockholm. One sister and one brother have died.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sabylund Lutheran Church, rural Pepin, the Rev. Carl H. Gronquist officiating. Burial will be in the New Sabylund Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Swandby Funeral Home, Maiden Rock, Wisconsin and from noon to time of services Thursday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Donald Edlin, Ronald Gray, Donald Hoffman, Kenneth Kallstrom and Dennis and LaVern Westberg.
