Mary the wife of Benjamin Arthur died at her home in Salamonia yesterday morning of consumption. The funeral services, under the direction of J. S. Hines, will take place at Salamonia at 2 o’clock this afternoon.
Additional Information: Mary M. Williamson, the daughter of Mary Linder and John Williamson, married a Civil War veteran, Benjamin F. Arthur the son of Aaron Arthur and Marra Zimmerman. They were married January 13th, 1859 in Marion County, Ohio. They had five known children together that all died young.
After her death, her husband would marry Mary Catherine Butcher, also her 2nd marriage. They were married on June 8th, 1902 in Indiana.
