Mrs. Gladys M. Fisher, 47, wife of Cecil C. (Bert) Fisher of 228 West Franklin street in Winchester, died at the Randolph County Hospital Thursday after a lingering illness. Mrs. Fisher was a native of Parker, the daughter of George and India Murray Karnes. Surviving in addition to the husband are two daughter, Mrs. Basil Keister of Winchester and Mrs. Albert Satterfield of Muncie; three grandchildren; a sister, Miss Lydah Karnes of Parker; a brother, Delbert Karnes of Winchester, and several step-children. Last rites will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Maynard and Walker mortuary in Winchester. Rev. Harvey Thornburg will officiate, assisted by Rev. Hubert Clevenger. Friends may call at the mortuary after 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon.
