Hazleton Plain Speaker; Tuesday, April 15, 1902:
Milton Craver, one of the oldest residents of this city, is in a critical condition at his home on West Chestnut street, above Locust. He is afflicted with miners' asthma. His two brothers, from Jersey City and Scranton, respectively, arrived to visit him.

Hazleton Plain Speaker; Tuesday, May 13, 1902:
While being taken to the Laurytown hospital to be treated for dementia, Richard Craver, of West Mine street, expired, although when the journey was begun he appeared to be in good health. No arrangements have yet been made for the funeral. The remains will be interred in this city. Deceased was born in Nescopeck 60 years ago. For 25 years he resided in Crystal Ridge and for 12 years in this city. Since 1890 he had been unable to work on account of asthma.

Besides his wife the following children survive: Mrs. Daniel Gliem, John, Charles, Lewis, William and Jacob Craver. He was a brother to Mrs. John Unchermach, of Hobbie, John Craver, Mrs. Mary Baker, of Scranton, Thomas, William and Fred Craver, of Trenton, N.J.

Craver - At Hazleton, Monday, May 12th, Richard M. Craver, aged 59 years, 10 months and 2 days. Funeral Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services at the family residence, No. 6 West Chestnut street. Interment in Vine street cemetery. John F. Reinhart, funeral director.
