Oscar Avery an attorney at Pontiac, has been appointed census supervisor for the fourth district, which includes the counties of Grundy, Kankakee, Lasalle, Livingston, Will, Marshall, Woodford, McLean, Tazewell, Mason and Logan. He gets $1000, and may be busy off and on for a year or two making corrections, etc. He will have between 200 and 300 enumerators to appoint.
