He served with the Army in WWII. He was a member of the Thurmont Edwin C. Creeger Jr. American Legion Post and was employed at Fort Detrick for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Morningstar Moser; daughter, Mrs. Gladys Hagin, Taneytown; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Smith, Woodsboro; Mrs. Ruth Strawburg, LeGore; Mrs. Alice Holt, Thurmont; and Mrs. Elsie Ramsburg, Taneytown; brother, George Moser, New Midway.
Services were held at the Weller United Methodist Church; burial was in the Utica Cemetery; Creager Funeral Home, Thurmont, had charge of the arrangements.
