Jane L. (Garlick) Harpster, 71, formerly of Altoona, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006.
She was the beloved mother of Marie Johnson, George Jr., William, Sally, John, Deborah, Mary, Judy Johnson and Tina; loving grandmother of 15; and great-grandmother of three.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Nellie (Bennett) Garlick. She was a sibling of 11 brothers and sisters; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews; and was a great-aunt.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Fortuna Funeral Home, 5316 Fleet Ave., Cleveland. Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Church, Ohio. Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
