WWI veteran with US Army 33rd Coast Artillery. He married Florence (Silver) Ames on Aug. 23, 1925, in Haverhill, NH. He probably adopted her daughter Geraldine. He was accepted as a member of the Samuel Crocker Lawrence Mason Lodge, but died before receiving his degree.
~Leslie O. Frizzell, Former Local Man, Dies In Bay State

Leslie O. Frizzell, of Watertown, Mass., for 25 years employed in the composing room of the Boston Record-American and once a linotype operator at the Caledonian-Record, died Wednesday at the Massachusetts General Hospital after a two weeks' illness.

Frizzell was employed at the Caledonian about 35 years ago when the newspaper was owned by Walter J. Bigelow.

Survivors, besides his widow, Mrs. Florence N. Frizzell and a daughter, Mrs. James Spurgeon, include four brothers, Ernest Frizzell, of St. Johnsbury, Allen Frizzell, of West Palm Beach, Fla., William Frizzell, who resides in Massachusetts, and Frank Frizzell, half brothers Fred Whitehill, of St. Johnsbury, Harrison Whitehill, of Thomaston Me., and Ellsworth Frizzell, of Woodsville N. H., half sisters in Danville, and nephews Clifford Frizzell, formerly of St. Johnsbury, and Richard Frizzell.

Funeral services were held yesterday from his late home at 406 School street, Watertown, with interment in Ridgelawn Cemetery there.
