Funeral services for Carolyn J. Adams will be on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Sharkey Funeral Home at 11 AM with burial to follow at Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at Sharkey Funeral Home on Sunday, March 6, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Monday, March 7, 2016, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Sharkey Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Adams, 68, passed from this life on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at her residence in Bogue Chitto, MS. She was born on July 7, 1947, in McComb, MS, to Farrel E. and Mary Jo Toney May. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Summit. She was a graduate of West Lincoln High School and Mercy Hospital-Street Memorial School of Nursing. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and painting. She was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt.

Preceding her in death was her father, Farrel E. May.

Survivors are her son, Michael Adams and wife Jodi of Ponchatoula, LA; daughter, Mary Adams Rebold of Bogue Chitto, MS; brother, George May and wife Gwen of Bogue Chitto, MS; grandchildren, Melissa Spieler, Tori Rebold; three step grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
