DANVILLE, Va. - Michael Ray Ball, 43, died Friday, April 30, 2004 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness.
Born Dec. 29, 1960, in Danville, he was a son of Calvin C. Ball and Inez Hankins Ball.
He was a truck driver for several transportation companies. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, of Danville, he is survived by two brothers, Kenneth W. Ball of Greensboro and Ronald C. Ball of Danville; and a sister, Terry Leigh Ball of Denver, Colo.
Gravesides services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004 at Highland Burial Park with the Rev. David Turbyfill officiating.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Townes Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence.
Townes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
