BLAIR NATIVE DIES IN CALIF.

Relatives in Blair received the news this week of the recent death of Mrs. Lee Pratt of Lomita, California. Mrs. Pratt, formerly Jo Ann Carter, eldest daughter of the late Dion Carter was born in Blair on July 20, 1878.

She was married to George Hopkins and two daughters were born to them. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Hopkins remarried and to this union one son was born, who is now serving in the army.

She leaves besides her children and grandchildren four sisters, Mrs. J. P. Jensen and Mrs. Bert Norris of Blair; Mrs. C. R. Croxin of Hyannis, Nebraska and Mrs. David McElhenry of Fort Collins, Colorado and three brothers, Dion and John Carter of Blair and Claude E. Carter of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, all of whom mourn deeply their great loss.
