Beverly McCreary, of Lake Stevens, Washington, formerly of Mountlake Terrace, Washington, passed away on August 23, 2006, at the age of 76. She was born October 19, 1929, in Seattle, Washington, to Delos and Opal Webb.
She leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Roderick; children, Randy (Kathy) McCreary and Virginia (Tim) Kriehn; grandchildren, Tori (Gary) Beecroft and Sabrina (Chris) Carpenter; and great-granddaughter, Charissa Beecroft.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Virginia Barger.
Beverly was one of the first female police officers in Snohomish County. She retired from the Mountlake Terrace Police Department in 1980 after 20 years of service.
Beverly loved her family immensely and enjoyed actively being part of their lives. In her journey through life she enjoyed many different types of crafts. Ceramics, fiberglass and crocheting were her favorites. The Hawaiian Islands and Vancouver Island were among the places she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Beverly will be greatly missed.
