He married Wilma Ruth Bahr May 9, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Jacklin worked for J. C. Penny then the BYU computer department.
He was a veteran of WWII in the Philippines.
He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, participating in search and rescue missions, and a Red Cross Volunteer.
He loved Boy Scouting and hiked the Phil Mont BSA camp.
Jacklin is survived by his wife, Wilma, children: David (Lucinda) Tracy, Stephen (Mindy) Tracy, Michael (Jodi) Tracy, Peter Tracy, 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sisters: LaRae Savage and Naomi Williamson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 children, Joseph and Amy.
Interment American Fork Cemetery.
