Sarah Branch Hughes, age 65, of Lynn Drive in Spruce Pine, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
Born on March 13, 1950 in Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Linton and Jerushia Hollifield Branch. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers; Jerry and Danny Branch.
Sarah was a member of the Altapass Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are husband of forty-nine years; Charles Hughes of Spruce Pine; her sons; Rodney Hughes and wife, Sarah of Spruce Pine and Joseph Bryan Hughes of Spruce Pine; her sister; Mattie Robinson and husband, Donald of Pineola.
