Douglas Garland Clark, age 77, passed away February 23, 2004 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
Doug was born February 10, 1927 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Garland Heber Clark and Emma Novella Robbins. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, where he was the Valedictorian, and he also attended the University of Utah. Doug married Marilyn Brown on June 12, 1950 in American Fork, Utah, the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an avid golfer and sportsman. He served many callings in the LDS Church, including Stake High Council and High Priest Group Leader, scouting and youth programs.
Doug is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Brown; daughters, Deborah Crowe, Tammy Scott and Cathy Smith; sister, Shirleen Taylor; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons, William and Robert Crowe.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Butler 4th Ward, 6634 South Greenfield Way. The family will receive friends at a viewing Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 West 4100 South and one hour prior at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: Valley View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations to be made to the Community Nursing Services/UNA Foundation, 6949 High Tech Drive, Suite 200, Midvale, Utah 84047.
