Maudine Denmon, age 70, of Douglasville, Georgia died March 1, 2016 following a sudden illness. Mrs. Denmon was born February 15, 1946, in Atlanta, GA, the daughter of the late Carl and Sterling Burch Buffington. Prior to her disability, Mrs. Denmon was employed as a beautician. She was a member of the King's Way Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by sisters Betty Jean Burch and Sandra Wallace. Survivors include her beloved husband Raymond Lee Denmon; son Raymond Shane Denmon; daughters Angela Denise Denmon and Rebecca Sumner and her husband Tim; brothers Hiram and Wayne Buffington; sister Carleen Strickland; three grandchildren, three great - grandchildren along with a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Denmon were held in the Rosehaven Chapel of Whitley - Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Sanders officiating. Burial was in the Riverview Memorial Park.
