Obituary - Sheboygan Press, 22 Jan 2003:

Evelyn L. Najacht, 87, a resident of Sunny Ridge Nursing Home, went home to her Lord Monday evening, Jan. 20, 2003.

Evelyn was born May 30, 1915, in Sheboygan, to Louis and Nellie (Tompkins) Rohrbacher.

She attended local elementary schools and Sheboygan Vocational School.

On June 27, 1936, Evelyn and Carl J. Najacht were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Najacht preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1978.

Evelyn was primarily a homemaker and was employed at Security First National Bank for 10 years. Evelyn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and taking walks, but her first and foremost love was for her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Kathleen (Ken) Klumb and Nancy (James) Guehna, both of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Deborah (Robert) Fenske of Pembine, Tracy Fenn of Sheboygan Falls, Allen Guehna of Afton, Wyo., and Jennifer (David) Koenig of Sheboygan; four great-granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley Fenske, and Taylor and Amber Koenig; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her sisters, Gladys Maschke and Nellie Mae Cooper and half-brothers and half-sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at Ballhorn Chapels. The Rev. David B. Paape, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Entombment will take place in Garden Terrace Mausoleum.

A memorial fund has been established in Evelyn's name.

Evelyn will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
