Hassie Owenby Grant Mann (Grant is the name on the stone)but her last name at time of death was Mann, her second husband's surname. I had it as Grant but people then set up duplicate Memorial for Hassie Mann when I do that and I got edits saying her name is Mann.

Mrs. Hassie Owenby Grant Mann, age 105, of Marion died Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Autumn Care of Marion.
Mrs. Mann was born in Swain County on February 25, 1899 to the late Dillsboro Owenby and Alice Martin Owenby.
She was a homemaker.
Two husbands, Crawford Grant and Jessie Mann; four sons, Carroll, Wayne, Roy and Charles; one grandson, Ronnie and one great grandson, Roy, preceded her in death.
Surviving Mrs. Mann are her two sons, Harold Grant of the home and Rev. John Mann of Marion; one brother, Lawson Owenby of Topton; twenty four grandchildren and a large number of great and great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home and crematory with Rev. Dean Owenby officiating. The family received friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial was in Briartown Cemetery in Topton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to McDowell County Meals on Wheels c/o Shirley Arrowood PO Box 338 Marion, NC 28752.
